Change is necessary and inevitable, so here I go...

Mes chers amis,

For the past year, I have been keeping you abreast of the French program here at NHS via video and text and pictures. Moving forward, the blog will be affixed to the district and high school web sites, to facilitate easier access. I will keep this version up and running for the summer months to display old material, but moving forward, all French program updates will be found here:

www.nps.org/highschool/departments/worldlanguages

I hope you continue to visit my website (wherever it is found) to stay up to date with classroom and department projects, activities and events!

Merci mille,

Madame

"Whatever a man can imagine, other men can make reality..."

...and so reads the Jules Verne quote on the bottom of our bulletin board. World Language Week was a HUGE success last week, and I am very proud of all of my honors sections for envisioning and executing their portions of the classroom. I have included pictures of my freshmen and juniors working diligently in and outside of the classroom - some of the French 3 class volunteered to work at our International Cafe last Thursday, which earned over $100! (Very impressive, considering the snacks went for 50 cents apiece!)

I will post several pictures of the bulletin boards created around the school and list the winners of the contest after they are announced this afternoon!
