Overdue recognition...

My French 3 class has had, by far, the hardest adjustment this year, between a new Madame, a new textbook and both our new sets of expectations. Because of this, the 4-skill exam took longer than anticipated to incorporate into their curriculum. This past unit was their first experience being assessed on reading, writing, speaking and listening, and they certainly rose to the occasion.

I have attached two of their speaking tests for you: one prompt asked them to describe NHS to a French student using school location vocabulary and verbs, while the second prompt (more difficult in my opinion because of the dense vocabulary required) had them explaining how to start up and open the Internet on a French computer to check one's email.

I am sure I will have much more student work to put up after their next unit, which requires them to talk about their morning routines... whether or not we want to hear the gory details in French, however, remains to be seen... :-)

A+
